Application

The following will be required to apply:

  • Resume or C.V.

  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency

  • Undergraduate or graduate student status at accredited U.S. institutions of higher education with G.P.A. >3.5

  • Transcript (official transcript will be requested later for viable candidates)

  • Two letters of recommendation, at least one from a STEM professor

  • Statement of purpose, describing applicable research experience and proposed project (1 page single-sided, Times New Roman font size 11)

May 15 Final decisions sent to students
June Program begins at the Tang laboratory at UC Riverside
August  Students hosted by the Yanai and Kimizuka laboratory at Kyushu University
